American denim brand Lee announced this week a collaboration with the animated TV series Dragon Ball Z to launch a curated capsule collection.

Now available in the United States and Europe, the collection pays homage to 90's and Y2K culture by taking a nostalgic look back at style from the early days of Dragon Ball Z.

The collection for both men and women features tops and tees with select shorts and a knit dress. Meanwhile, each region also offers exclusive styles. The collection is characterized by bright colors and Dragon Ball Z characters and logos.

“A generation of fans were introduced to anime through Dragon Ball Z in the ‘90s, and that same generation grew up wearing Lee,” said Joe Broyles, global vice president of collaborations, Lee. “This capsule takes a fun approach to blend authentic nostalgia with trend. We’re excited to introduce it to fans of yesterday and today.”

Most recently, Lee teamed up with The Brooklyn Circus on a collection inspired by the American West and Black cowboys. Previously, it collaborated with the likes of H&M, The Hundreds, Alife and others.

This year, Lee, a Kontoor Brands brand, is also expanding into footwear in the EMEA market for the first time with men's, women's and children's casual shoes and sneakers.
