Although Le Coq Sportif has announced its return to football for the 2015-16 season, the French company hasn’t yet made its contract with the two clubs it has signed with official.

In 1982, the Italian team garnered its third World Cup with Le Coq Sportif football jerseys - Visuel Le Coq Sportif

This kind of a secret doesn’t last long in football though. Fans of AS Saint-Etienne, whose current jersey is designed by Adidas, are already imagining the new jerseys, which should be unveiled in June.

The French brand, which said it had signed with two clubs in Europe, should also be returning to Italy. According to reports, the club from Florence, Fiorentina, should also be playing with Le Coq Sportif on their chests next season. For the past three seasons, the current sixth place holder in the Italian championship has played in a uniform created by Joma.

For Le Coq Sportif, its return to the sport is becoming more concrete. Following involvement in women's sports, cycling and tennis, the brand is once again taking on football, having equipped the greatest teams in the 70s and 80s. Its first jerseys will be accompanied by key pieces from the football wardrobe, including outerwear as well as large pieces with sleeves.
