La Roche-Posay is known for its skin-care formulated for sensitive skin types, and its line of makeup is no exception. Now available in the US, the La Roche-Posay cosmetics range includes a mix of eye products, base products and a makeup remover. Like its skin care range, the cosmetics line is made without known allergens and irritants.

The brand’s cosmetics products will be sold to the American market through Amazon. Prices range from $20 to $30, with its Respectissime Extension Mascara retailing for $25 and its Toleriane Teint Mousse for $30, the latter of which is meant to act as a foundation while also combatting skin irritation.

La Roche-Posay’s more well-known skincare range has been available in the US since 1999 and is currently sold at retailers such as Ulta and Target.

The brand is named for the thermal spring water La Roche-Posay, which is known for its antioxidant and soothing properties. The brand was founded by French pharmacist Rene Levayer in 1995 and is now owned by the French cosmetics giant L’Oreal.
