L’Oréal names Vismay Sharma new MD for UK and Ireland

Vismay Sharma, who has been Country Managing Director for L’Oréal Indonesia since 2012, has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the UK and Ireland.

He replaces Michel Brousset, who has been promoted to become President of the Consumer Products Division in North America.

Sharma began his career at L’Oréal India 1994. Since then, he has held a variety of management and leadership roles, including Director of the Professional Products and Consumer Products Divisions.

As new UKI Country Director, he will lead the overall business, as well as its Consumer Products Division – encompassing well-established brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Essie, and Soft Sheen Carson.

Mr. Sharma said: “I am looking forward to bringing the experiences I’ve learnt from across L’Oréal’s global business to the UK and Ireland market.”
