Kickers' Kick Hi boot was launched in 1975, and has been worn by musicians and style setters since. Now the company is celebrating the anniversary with a new publication, "Forty."

From the days of the Manchester Hacienda and the London rave scene to collaborations with some of the UK’s leading design talent, the Kick Hi has left a cultural footprint across the last four decades – and continues to do so until this day.

In this spirit it has created Forty with David Hellqvist and Document Studios, to document the historical and aesthetic legacy of the boot. The publication was designed by Mark Thompson, David Hellqvist's creative partner, and features an interview with stylist Simon Foxton as well as a contextualisation of the Kick Hi’s denim roots by writer Dean Mayo Davies, among other features.

Forty also takes a look at Kick Hi's place in the contemporary world. To celebrate  the anniversary, Kickers has introduced a new anniversary denim model.
