The entry into the market follows the opening of five stores and a logistics center last year in Russia. The goal is "to become a reference ready-to-wear brand for the whole family in Poland," indicates management, "with twenty future locations."

Besides Poland, Kiabi is also aiming to enter Saudi Arabia this year, as well as countries in the Magrheb and a country in sub-Saharan Africa that remains to be disclosed.

The goal is to surpass 500 stores by the end of 2015. In the long term, the company intends to generate half of its sales abroad, as compared with the current level of 20%.

In 2014, the retailer generated a turnover of 1.558 billion euros, up 8.7%. In France, it is currently the leader by volume and value for apparel with a 10% market share, 1.18 billion euros in revenue and a 7.1% increase on a comparable basis.
