Kevin Bailey: a new president for Vans Americas

Published
Jun 7, 2009

Kevin Bailey has been named as the president of Vans Americas. The former vice-president for retail of the label will now focus on its worldwide development and global strategy.

With more than twenty years of experience in sales and merchandising (notably at American Eagle, Nike and Golfsmith) and five years at Vans, holding the post of vice-president for retail between 2002 and 2007, Mr Bailey has improved the brand’s boutiques and developed product offerings thanks to new visual merchandising and has subsequently been promoted.

“I am very happy to come back to a brand for which I have a profound interest and which is strongly based in sports, in youth and its culture”, explained Kevin Bailey who had until now held the role of executive vice-president of global sales and operations at Lucky Brand, a brand of Liz Claiborne.
