Kelly Rowland and Fabletics kick off Fall 2019 with a new activewear collection

Kelly Rowland has been busy in the design studio, working on a new activewear collection for Fabletics.

The singer and actress has unveiled her second series with the lifestyle brand co-founded by Kate Hudson, and the result is a bold, playful collection inspired by Rowland's own experience as a performer.

"With one collection under my belt, I knew exactly how I wanted the pieces to look and how I wanted people to feel while wearing them," said Rowland in a statement. "I aimed to create silhouettes that were deeply personal and that celebrate the female form. I want women to feel beautiful while wearing this collection, but also powerful and confident so that they're ready to take on any challenges they face."

The limited-edition Kelly Rowland x Fabletics Fall collection spans leggings, crop tops, shorts and jackets, and even includes a catsuit. The pieces, which embody a fashion-forward aesthetic designed to take wearers from the studio to the street, are all crafted from a bold color palette that incorporates rich indigos and royal blues.

"Kelly has been so amazing to work with and has partnered closely with us to introduce a fresh, unique design perspective through her capsule," said Hudson. "Her confidence embodies everything we want to share with our community at Fabletics."

Former Destiny's Child member Rowland first flexed her fashion design muscles for Fabletics back in January, when she released a dance-inspired collection that focused on sleek pieces with 1990s-style details.

Hudson clearly enjoys working with famous faces: previous creative collaborators to have designed collections for Fabletics include entertainer Maddie Ziegler, singer Demi Lovato and Hudon's mother, the Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn.
