After 3 years of design collaboration Topshop and Kate Moss go their separate ways. The mutually lucrative deal has come to an end as Arcadia boss’ daughter takes supermodel’s place.

While denying any fallout, the A/W collection launching this October will be the last by Moss. She has earned £3 million ($4.5m) from the deal but lacks time to continue with another collection due to other commitments.

Perhaps a sign of getting past her sell-by date, the 36 year-old supermodel is replaced by Philip Green’s 19 year-old daughter Chloe Green.

This final upcoming range will be the 14th by Kate Moss. This is considered rare in the industry. Celebrity endorsements such as Stella McCartney for H&M and Madonna for Karl Lagerfield are notoriously short-term or one-off contracts. A fresh fast fashion ethos is resumed by Topshop for the time being.
