Karl Lagerfeld's partnership with Marchon Eyewear continues. The eponymous German designer's fashion label issued a press release announcing the renewal of its worldwide licence agreement with the US eyewear group, covering the development, production and exclusive distribution of Lagerfeld's sunglasses and eyeglasses collections. The new deal is set to end in 2023.

A first agreement was inked between the partners in 2007, and the first collection was launched the following year. "Our business is constantly growing, and we are ready to extend our eyewear brand's [distribution] across the whole world," stated the CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, Pier Paolo Righi, in the press release.

Good news for Marchon Eyewear, whose brand licence portfolio also includes labels such as Chloé, Diane Von Furstenberg, Etro, G-Star Raw, Lacoste, Liu Jo, Longchamp, Marni, Nike and Salvatore Ferragamo.

Last October, Marchon Eyewear also renewed the worldwide licence agreement for the eyewear collections of Calvin Klein, with whom the US manufacturer has worked since 1992.
