Karen Millen inks jewellery licensing deal with Gecko
Karen Millen is to launch a new jewellery collection created in partnership with multi-brand jewellery supplier Gecko in March 2020.
This is part of a multi-year licensing deal with Gecko, a British jewellery wholesaler producing collections for brands including Orla Kiely and Fiorelli.
Marking the first time that Karen Millen jewellery will be extensively available internationally, the 90-piece collection will feature earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings with prices from £20 to £170.
It will be available in all major Karen Millen stores and online, as well as through department stores, jewellers and online retailers.
Beth Butterwick, CEO at Karen Millen, said: “We are delighted to be working with Gecko as our new licensed jewellery partner. It was clear through discussions we have a shared passion for delivering timeless quality and beauty for our global customer base.”
Andrew J Morton, MD at Gecko added: “This is an exciting time for Gecko and we are delighted to be working with Karen Millen – one of the UK's leading fashion brands – on the global jewellery license."
The new licensing deal is part of Karen Millen’s efforts to become a lifestyle brand. The British label has also recently launched new bag, footwear, homeware and swimwear ranges.
