Kanye launches Season 3 footwear on Yeezy Supply webshop

Kanye West has made his Yeezy Season 3 footwear available online at his Yeezy Supply website. The website is offering six footwear styles after previously serving as a video website chronicling the Yeezy Season collections’ production process.

 
The minimal webshop is offering six footwear styles including one men’s boot style and five women’s boot options. The women’s styles, which include ankle heel boots and knee-high boots, range in price from $895 to $1,250. All boots feature a calfskin lining and boast luxurious calfskin and nappa leather upper fabrications. The fifth women’s boot is a military boot style that compliments the similar men’s style. Both military boot versions sport calfskin fabrications and rubber soles though only the men’s version has a defined heel.
 
The Yeezy Season 3 footwear first debuted with the apparel collection in February 2016 at New York Fashion Week. Various sources reported that the collection would launch in October by sharing a price list for products. Yeezy Brand President Pete Fox confirmed the collection’s launch via social media.

Many retailers carried West’s first Yeezy Season collection, which almost sold out entirely in the US. Yeezy Season took a back seat to West’s Life of Pablo merchandise, which had numerous dedicated pop up stores that all sold very well. The first Life of Pablo pop up that opened in March 2016 generated $1 million according to West.
 
The focus on women’s footwear and Yeezy Season apparel comes at a time where customers may be feeling Yeezy Boost fatigue. Customers have expressed outrage for their inability to buy the highly coveted Adidas sneakers, and retailers have recently chimed in to voice their grievances.
 
No word yet on if and when Yeezy Supply will offer apparel.
