Judith Leiber to launch new footwear collection with Paradox London

American  accessories brand Judith Leiber, which is perhaps best known for its evening bags and crystal minaudieres, has licensed Paradox London to launch footwear brand JL by Judith Leiber for worldwide distribution.

The new footwear collection will feature strappy sandals and platforms in luxurious shimmering textures. It incorporates "luxurious silk, extraordinary crystals, classic metallic shades and textured glitter" and was inspired by the art deco period. The shoes have also been decorated with original vintage jewellery, as a nod to the romantic drama of the golden jazz age.

The collection will launch at the tradeshow FN Platform in Las Vegas on February 16-18. Target stockists in the UK are Selfridges, Harrods, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Net-A-Porter, Browns and Matchesfashion.com.
