Joseph Abboud has announced the opening of its first flagship store in New York City located on 424 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The location is the first Joseph Abboud store to open under the Men’s Wearhouse umbrella.

The 4,300-square-foot store carries Abboud’s designer collection including tailored clothing made of Italian fabrics, sportswear, outerwear, dress furnishings, footwear, Joseph Abboud Custom, and the new Joseph Abboud fragrance. Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates and Joseph Abboud designed the store, which is reminiscent of London's Savile Row.

"The location of the store is in the heart of Midtown, which is quickly becoming a menswear shopping destination," said Joseph Abboud, Chief Creative Director of Men's Wearhouse, Inc. "Inspired by London's Savile Row, I wanted to bring an American curated experience for men to Madison Avenue... a place where they cannot only shop but explore."

Interior design features include an impressive fifteen foot ivory Venetian plaster vaulted ceiling, lit with brass and hand blown glass chandeliers, custom-made wing chairs, upholstered in the designer's own gray chalk-stripe fabric and an iron staircase leading up to the mezzanine level.

Abboud joined Men’s Wearhouse as the Chief Creative Director in 2012 and was reunited with his eponymous label in 2013 after Men’s Wearhouse acquired JA Holdings Inc. Abboud re-launched his label and released the Josseph Abboud designer collection in October 2014.
