Jo Malone London to open at Metrocentre after pop-up success

Luxury fragrance and lifestyle brand Jo Malone London is to open in the Metrocentre Gateshead in time for the Christmas season. It will be the high-end retailer’s first regional standalone store and follows a successful pop-up at the centre last Christmas.

Work is expected to commence in September with the new 1,000 sq ft unit located in the lower Red Mall alongside Metrocentre’s portfolio of premium brands, ensuring the store is in “good company” to offer shoppers “the very best in quality British retail”.

Jo Malone London previously opened a temporary store at the centre over Christmas 2021, featuring its exclusive range of fragrances and luxury products for the bath, body and home, Bdaily reported.

It's joining a string of recent openings including the region’s only H&M Home and luxury beauty emporium, H Beauty from Harrods, which opened earlier this summer.
