The luxury concept store will open later this year at The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties’ £400m St James’s Market redevelopment and sell Jigsaw's full range of premium men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. It will measure 3,000 sqft. and also have 1,000 sqft. for Jigsaw's sister brand, The Shop at Bluebird. It comes after a menswear-focused pop-up with The Crown Estate on Jermyn Street last year.

Peter Ruis,  CEO, Jigsaw said: “St James’s Market is the natural home for our new bespoke Emporium, located in this iconic part of London synonymous with British style, craftsmanship and luxury. We’re thrilled to be part of this landmark development which blends the historic with the new to re-establish the area as a world-class retail and lifestyle destination.”

The St James Market development will feature new, modern office accommodation, five flagship stores and seven new restaurants. It's the first step in The Crown Estate’s long-term vision to re-create Regent Street St James’s as a world class destination for high quality fashion and lifestyle shopping.

Anthea Harries, on behalf of the St James’s Market Partnership, said: “Attracting the best British and global brands, from Assos and Smeg through to Jigsaw, shows how a scheme like St James’s Market is able to build on London’s world city status by creating a new fashion, lifestyle and business destination.”

Last year, The Shop at Bluebird opened its first store outside London, in Guildford, Surrey, on the second floor of a Jigsaw store, which had been refurbished and given a new concept. Jigsaw reported a record-breaking Christmas and recently teamed up with silk specialist Pongees and the British Fashion Council on an eveningwear competition for fashion students
