Jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu secures £4 million investment

Astrid & Miyu, a fast-growing fashion jewellery brand with a concession in Selfridges and a standalone store on Bond Street, has raised £4 million to support its growth ambitions.

The investment was led by German company Aeternum Holding, which invests in brands in the jewellery and accessories category with the aim of building businesses with a long-term perspective.

Founded in 2012, Astrid & Miyu is a London-based contemporary jewellery brand stocked in leading retailers including Selfridges in London and Le Bon Marche in Paris. Top celebrities including Georgia May Jagger and Pippa Middleton have worn its designs, helping it build brand awareness and contributing to its 200% year-on-year growth since its launch.

The brand has quadrupled its team size in less than two years and is “highly profitable,'' said Harbottle & Lewis, which advised Astrid & Miyu on the £4 million investment round.

The jewellery firm launched a US website earlier this year, and has run two successful pop-up stores in Soho, New York in March and June.

In addition to the Bond Street boutique, Astrid & Miyu has a store in Shoreditch and operates an e-commerce platform.
