Calvin Klein has released the new TV campaign for its ‘Eternity Calvin Klein' fragrance, starring actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The clip, which was created in close collaboration with the Hollywood star, centers on a mother and father playing separately with their daughter, while teaching her the words to the ee Cummings poem, "I carry your heart with me." Gyllenhaal is joined on camera by model and advocate Liya Kebede, and a four-year-old actress known simply as Leila.

"We wanted to look at what Eternity Calvin Klein means today: the emotion and the beauty of passing on knowledge; a commitment to the future; and the timelessness of love," said Raf Simons, Chief Creative Officer, Calvin Klein, Inc.

"I am a great admirer of Calvin Klein, and especially Raf Simons' work," said Gyllenhaal of his first campaign for the US brand. "The history of Eternity Calvin Klein spans many generations, which is incredible, so when the brand approached me, I was excited to work with them to develop this beautiful concept and story."

Directed by the Emmy Award-winning Cary Fukunaga, the black and white film is accompanied by a print campaign in the same style, shot by the acclaimed photographer Willy Vanderperre.
