Jade Jagger is turning her expert jeweler's eye to a gemstone-themed beauty collaboration for MAC.

The British jewelry designer and daughter of rock n' roll legend Mick Jagger has teamed up with the cosmetics brand on an upcoming collection that, according to MAC, will feature "pearlescent Mineralize Lipsticks, Eye Shadows, Blushes and Skinfinish," inspired by "the lustre of her eclectic lifestyle." The collection will be based around a color palette of jewel tones and deep gold hues.

Jagger took to Instagram to share the news with her 50,000 followers, sharing a photo of herself biting down on a fistful of chunky sapphire rings while sporting a shimmering golden eyeshadow lined with a smudgy deep navy hue. She added the caption: "So proud to announce my new #mac cosmetics range #MACjadejagger with amazing colours like #rollingred it been a long time In the making." A logo stamped onto the image refers to the collection as "A rock ‘n' roll tribute by jewelry designer Jade Jagger".

According to Refinery29, the collection will comprise three lipsticks in a pale ‘Opal Beach, a coral-hued ‘Sunset Pearl', and the aforementioned deep ruby shade ‘Rolling Red'. There will also be two ‘Mineralize' eyeshadow palettes, a ‘Skin Finish' powder in a bronze ‘Satin Shimmer' color, and two ‘Mineralize Blushes' in ‘Moon Shimmer' and ‘Perfect Bronze'. The collection is reportedly set to go on sale on December 14, although the official MAC Instagram account remains elusive, stating simply that the line is "coming soon".

Jagger is the latest in a long line of celebrity collaborators to have been snapped up by MAC, joining a club that includes Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Caitlyn Jenner and Ellie Goulding. The brand also recently announced a makeup collection in partnership with beauty influencer Patrick Starrr, as well as a secretive upcoming project with sportswear giant Puma.
