Jack Wolfskin wins MAPIC award for best international retailer

On the evening of November 18th, the International Market for Retail Real Estate (MAPIC) announced the four winners of Mapic Awards 2010. The tradeshow recognises excellence and innovation in the retail real estate arena and it takes place inside the ‘Palais des Festivals et des Congrès’ in Cannes. Jack Wolfskin (Germany) won the award for best international retailer, Lego (Denmark) for best new retail concept, Odysseum (France) for best shopping centre and Brussels-Capital Region for most improved city attractiveness.

The 'Personality of the Year' award was also attributed to Jean-Paul Fréret, Director of Expansion and Real Estate and member of the executive committee of the Vivarte group. The award was handed to him by Frédéric Lefebvre, France’s new Secretary of State under the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry.
