British clothing brand Jack Wills has opened its latest Surrey store at The Square Camberley as the centre completes its latest phase of refurbishment.

The Square

The new 2,300-square-foot store, located on the main square, was visited by ‘hundreds of shoppers’ over the weekend, Surrey Heath Borough Council said in a press release.

“It’s fantastic to see such a prestigious brand as Jack Wills arrive at The Square and we’ve been delighted with the local community’s reaction to the highly anticipated opening of the store. The current redevelopment programme, driven by SHBC has proved to be fundamental in attracting Jack Wills and we hope to bring many more popular retailers and brands to Camberley,” commented Karen Whelan, CEO of Surrey Heath Borough Council.

The  shopping centre is undergoing a redesign programme which will see new flooring, facades and lighting launch in time for the busy Christmas shopping period. Brands including Accessorize, JD Sports, Primark and New Look are housed there.

Neil Beaman, property director at Jack Wills said: “We’re very excited about opening in Camberley and The Square is the perfect location for our store. We’ll be in good company alongside other quality brands so our customers will have a fabulous shopping experience.”

The new Jack Wills store adds to more than 70 locations in the UK and over 100 worldwide. The brand is known for its heritage-inspired hoodies, sweatshirts, coats and gilets.
