Italian brand Parosh to open first UK store

Parosh, the Italian label behind Meghan Markle’s green engagement dress, has chosen the prestigious South Kensington area for its first UK shop.
The brand has signed a 10-year lease for a 1,310 sq ft store at 6 Fulham Road, real estate advisor Savills announced on Monday.
Due to open in September, it will boost the brand’s presence in the UK after seeing a rise in sales thanks to Markle’s endorsement.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a green shift dress with no sleeves from the Parosh Fall Winter 2018/17 collection in her first joint appearance in front of British media with Prince Harry back in 2017. The dress was an instant hit with fans, selling out within hours.
Currently, Parosh is available in the UK through ecommerce sites such as Farfetch, and operates standalone stores in Milan, Rome, La Spezia, Paris, Madrid and Ibiza.
Property agents Thomas Pain & Company and Savills advised on the letting.
Savills associate director Tiffany Luckett said: “Having Parosh take their first unit in the UK in Brompton Cross is testament to the area’s reputation for securing international brands. We are delighted to have secured the retailer at 6 Fulham Road and the store will perfectly complement the standout line-up of occupiers already in the neighbourhood.”
The Parosh store will be located adjacent to luxury retailer Carolina Herrera and opposite high-end fashion house Stella McCartney.
