Isamaya Ffrench, the makeup artist behind some of the boldest looks in the fashion industry, has been snapped up by Christian Louboutin Beauty.

The British creative has been appointed as the prestige cosmetics brand's new global makeup artist, the brand announced on Instagram. Ffrench's new role will see her contribute to everything from campaigns to product development.

In the Instagram post announcing the news, the brand referred to Ffrench as "a rising star in the world of beauty," adding: "Visionary, make-up genius and true artist, Isamaya's creativity and extravagance is the perfect match to @LouboutinBeauty."

Ffrench, who has created looks for brands such as Gucci, Desigual and Vivienne Westwood, previously acted as a UK makeup ambassador for YSL Beauté and held the position of beauty editor at i-D Magazine.
