Irina Shayk stars in new Furla campaign

Published
Jan 21, 2020

Furla has tapped supermodel Irina Shayk and Argentinian model Nicolas Ripoll for its SS20 ad campaign, with the images shot by photographer Giampaolo Sgura and creative direction for the campaign courtesy of Magnus Berger and Tenzin Wild.

Furla

The new imagery is an evolutionary step onwards from the black and white AW19 campaign and features a background of “soft, almost pale hues and essential styling, giving the centre stage to the products, which are elegant yet colourful and joyful,” we’re told.

The company said the shots “examine and translate” its “codes” established over 90 years of its history and derived from its “unmistakably Italian DNA”. It added that “the models’ effortless and fun attitude ensures a refreshingly unpretentious and naturally beautiful campaign”.

The campaign also comes with a video in which Shayk and Ripoll “playfully explore brand keywords such as ‘Amore’, ‘Modernità’, ‘Eleganza’, ‘Design’, ‘Colore’ and of course ‘Italiana’, further accentuating Furla’s values and deeply Italian essence”.
