The retailer opened its first store in 2004 and Tallaght, and has now 21 stores in Ireland, including five in Dublin. It sells everything from frying pans and bed linen to home décor, candles, giftware and electrical goods - all at affordable prices.

The first UK store for the brand will be located at Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh and will occupy a space of 18,340 sq ft.

This is the latest in a number of significant lettings at Craigleith Retail Park, including Card Factory, Starbucks, Toys R Us, while Currys has relocated its unit.

Other existing occupiers at the scheme include M&S, TK Maxx, Boots, New Look, Clarks, Homebase and a Nike Factory Store.

Mark Cruddas, senior portfolio and investment manager at TH Real Estate, commented: “We have recently undertaken a refurbishment programme, investing significantly in the repositioning of the park.

“These new lettings, especially Homestore & More’s first UK store, will help to breathe new life into the park, delivering an enhanced retail experience for our customers.”

It remains unclear whether this will be the first of more UK stores for HomeStore + More, but the company has said it has “big plans” for the coming years.
