In The Style launches new app
E-tailer In The Style has launched a new iOS shopping app on the Poq platform with the brand saying it’s a key move as it’s currently seeing “a period of impressive growth” with its m-commerce sales surging.
Its e-commerce head Finn Christo said: "With so much of our traffic on mobile and our customers so highly engaged with social media it made sense to enhance the customer experience by improving our offering with our app.”
Using the Poq platform has allowed it to create a fully-customised native app very quickly with the platform having already proved popular among some much bigger names than In The Style, such as Missguided, House of Fraser and Made.com, alongside other fast fashion brands.
Christo said the company liked the fact that it could “keep up to date with technology developments whilst also offering our customers an optimal experience.”
Øyvind Henriksen, CEO and Co-Founder of Poq said: "In The Style grew quickly by pinpointing consumer trends and offering products and a way to shop that met these needs. Launching an app is another way to give the brand's loyal following a way to engage and shop with ease.”
In The Style targets the 16 to 24 age group that’s also helping to provide strong sales for larger peers such as Asos and Boohoo. It exploits the link between celebrity trends, fast fashion and social media and shopping via smartphone is understandably a key demand of its customers.
