ICEX Spain Trade and Investment to stage London event in late May

SpainFashion Lab London launches later this month bringing together a selection of independent Spanish fashion and accessory brands to showcase their collections to UK agents on 22-23 May at the capital’s Mortimer House.

Featured are Urbànima footwear collections including several sustainable brands and some 100% vegan labels. Described as ‘footwear with a soul’, the slow-fashion brand is handmade in Spain featuring styles that are “elegant and sophisticated with a rebellious touch”.

Handbag brand Danni Ro features a quality collection of handcrafted leather bags designed in Barcelona, showcasingSpanish craftsmanship.

Sustainable brand Mirror in the Sky specialises i cashmere and blends traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Sustainable footwear brand Nemónic from Yecla in Spain showcases local expertise, artisan craft and national materials.  The goal is to offer quality and durable footwear produced responsibility with a focus on a boho style.

Barcelona-based luxury knitwear brand Sita Murt’s collection is based on neutral colours that reinterpret the season. The SS23 collection mixes colours, textures and shapes.

Meanwhile international jewellery brand Tous is perhaps the best-known label showing. It has a strong reputation for its elegant, playful collections with whimsical motifs such as its signature teddy bear. Its current range has grown to include jewellery, handbags and sunglasses, headlined by the SS23 ‘Dream Land’ collection.

Then there's the Van-Dos AW 23/24 collection inspired by a journey that begins in the French Riviera. Featuring "feminine lines with high quality materials and finishes", the collection includes dressy pieces but also has a focus on comfort.

Finally, knitwear label Viriato is a collection of timeless and versatile pieces. The collection features a range of styles, from soft, warm surfaces to aquatic effects and liquid metals created with lurex fibres.
