Hush’s new e-commerce platforms hit record-breaking £1 million sales

Women’s fashion and lifestyle brand Hush is enjoying online success via two new e-commerce platforms breaking daily sales records, with total e-tail transactions exceeding £1m.

The UK-based brand has debuted online on two fronts. The first offers “a seamless mobile-first e-commerce experience” with the handheld user in mind. The second is a standalone international site “to improve accessibility to the global market”.

The two sites went live in June, with sales transactions hitting record levels during the summer, it said.

Developed in partnership with digital commerce agency Astound Commerce, the first site offers “a frictionless purchasing journey while also allowing customers to immerse themselves in the brand via customer-focused editorial content… making the site six-times faster for those browsing via mobile”, Hush said. The second provides a “personalised customer experience for international customers”.

Hush MD Rupert Youngman said: “To see such impressive returns on our investment so quickly, with record daily sales exceeding £1m, just one month on from going live, is testament to the importance of working with an expert digital partner to ensure the long-term success of our business”.

Founded in 2003 by Mandy Watkins as a womenswear label, the brand offers contemporary fashion, footwear, accessories, jewellery and confectionary, selling multiple collections through its own website, pop-up stores and concessions in John Lewis.
