New peer-to-peer wardrobe rental platform Hurr Collective is gearing up to open a physical shopping experience where it will showcase hundreds of party dresses for hire.

The invite-only shopping platform launched six months ago and has already recorded over 8,000 sign-ups.

Fashion lovers can use the exclusive platform to hire and rent their wardrobes, leveraging its secure messaging system and peer reviews to make the process smoother and safer.

The new pop-up store, opening later this month in the upmarket London area of Belgravia, will present a range of dresses and accessories from designer and aspirational brands including Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Rixo London and Ganni.

There will also be vintage one-offs and trend-led pieces from contemporary labels, Hurr Collective told The Evening Standard.

The pop-up will be a space where visitors can physically interact with the products before choosing which items they would like to rent for a limited period. A team will be on hand to help new members sign up to the platform.

“The launch of our official pop-up store will build our community offline, offer an immersive luxury rental experience and pave the way towards a more sustainable future for fashion,” CEO and co-founder Victoria Prew told the Standard.

Further building on its sustainable credentials, the store will collect unwanted clothes and shoes to donate to Traid, a charity, giving consumers an alternative to be more eco-friendly.
