Hurr becomes Cecilie Bahnsen's exclusive rental partner

As rental becomes increasingly important and a must-have for any fashion brand, specialists in the rental sector are playing an ever more crucial role in getting brands into the segment.

The latest announcement in this area is that Hurr has become the exclusive rental partner for Cecilie Bahnsen. 

Following the launch of Hurr’s Now & Then edit in September, the rental platform said it “continues to shine a light on some of the world’s leading female design talents, with Cecilie Bahnsen the latest to join the fold; allowing shoppers the chance to discover new and archive pieces from the celebrated Danish brand”.

The new edit features some of Bahnsen’s key signature styles, including the Beth and Tilde dresses, as well as other standout pieces and accessories. 

Hurr said the partnership demonstrates its “commanding position within the ever-growing rental landscape; now working with over 100 brands exclusively, and paving the way to redefine ownership”.

Rental now figures in the business plans of so many retailers and labels but with expertise — and the technology required — in the area often lacking within a company’s in-house set-up, the role of rental specialists has been magnified.

Hurr is one of the most prominent UK names to make the most of this trend. Recent rental link-ups for Hurr include with Mulberry, Kitri, and Timberland.
