Headwear brand Twinzz to expand to US, China

Twinzz, a Manchester-based lifestyle brand whose products are stocked in over 370 stores including JD Sports and Footasylum, has announced plans to launch in stores in the US and China before the end of the year.


The international expansion is part of the brand’s growth strategy, after seeing some success in Eastern European countries.

With a selection of headwear and apparel for men, the brand was founded by brother Jez and Farooq in 2016.

“We are really excited about expanding the brand into new territories. When we first saw people wearing our hats around Manchester we felt really overwhelmed, fast forward two years and we’re now in physical stores all over the world – it’s been a whirlwind,” said Jez Farooq in a statement.

“I think people relate to the brand because of its authenticity,” Ali Farooq, co-founder added.

“We’re not trying to be something we’re not, we’re just two regular guys with a passion for fashion. We launched the brand because we believe in our products and thought others might too, which has proven to be hugely successful.”
