Havaianas unveils largest UK flagship at Westfield London

Brazilian flip flop label Havaianas has taken its iconic and vibrant universe to Westfield London shopping centre, where it recently launched its largest flagship store in the UK.

The opening follows recent store launches in Barcelona, Rome, Porto and Mallorca and marks an important step in the brand’s EMEA retail expansion. Havaianas is part of Alpargatas, the largest footwear company in Brazil.

With 90 sq mts of space, the Westfield store spreads across two floors and features the brand’s footwear ranges including ‘Brazil Logo’, ‘Special Collection’ and the new designer collaborations with Liberty and Charlotte Olympia.

"The UK is an important market for Havaianas and Westfield London, as one of the UK's number one shopping destinations with 28m annual visitors, it fits perfectly with our consumer demographic and brand positioning,” said Eno Polo, President of Alpargatas Europe. 

The flagship store displays a window installation designed by Double Retail Limited to tell the story and values behind the company. Surfboards, flip flops in 'message' bottles and a tropical parrot sculpture made using miniature sandals can be seen in the façade of the shop.

Havaianas now has 23 directly-owned stores across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
