April 13 - Harry Winston Diamond Corp said quarterly diamond production from its Diavik mine fell sequentially, hurt partly by maintenance at a processing plant.
The diamond miner and retailer said its Diavik mine produced 1.35 million carats in the first quarter, down from 1.54 million carats in the fourth quarter.

Harry Winston also said it remains on target for production of 6.9 million carats in 2011.
In August last year, Harry Winston had closed a deal to reinstate its 40 percent ownership in the Diavik diamond mine in northern Canada by buying back the interest it sold to Kinross Gold in 2009.
Diavik, located in the Northwest Territories, is Canada's largest diamond mine.
Shares of Harry Winston closed at C$16.16 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
