Happy Socks teams up with Macaulay Culkin for the holidays
Playful Swedish lifestyle brand Happy Socks has joined forces with the star of the iconic Home Alone film franchise, Macaulay Culkin, for a mischievously festive sock collection launching just in time for the holidays.
The collection includes three sock designs featuring vibrant contrasting colors and seasonal details like holly and candy canes, as well as a cheeky rabbit character – a nod to Culkin’s lifestyle website bunnyears.com.
Each pair of socks can be purchased separately or as part of cheerful gift boxes that include all three. For a final festive touch, a range of customizable wrapping options are also available.
To accompany the launch of the collection, Culkin stars in the tongue-in-cheek Happy Socks Naughty or Nice Holiday Campaign video, which sees him pet an iguana and blow up a garden gnome.
The campaign plays with the idea that, having served as the face of the holidays since starring as Kevin in Christmas classic Home Alone in 1990, Culkin is over the festive season.
“Christmas is my time of year,” he jokes in a press release. “I get recognized 10x more between the months of November and January. I have no idea why!”
The collection is the latest in a series of pop culture-inspired collaborations to be launched by Happy Socks, including a recent Pink Panther collection and a collaboration with The Rolling Stones, released in March of this year.
The Happy Socks Holiday Collection in collaboration with Macaulay Culkin is available now in Happy Socks concept stores and on the brand’s e-commerce store, as well as at select multi-brand retailers.
