Pop star Halsey is strengthening her ties with DKNY by fronting the fashion house's Spring 2020 campaign.

The musician has stepped in front of the camera once again to put her stamp on DKNY's signature styles and celebrate the label's hometown of New York. The campaign also sees her open up about what the city means to her personally.

"Life is confusing when you're young and figuring it all out," the star said in a statement. "The only thing that could pacify the hunger and bewilderment of my adolescence was finding my calling. The 'thing' that makes me wake up every day determined to evolve into a better version of myself than I was yesterday. I partnered with DKNY to reminisce on my days in New York when I first began songwriting and performing. For all of its success and excitement and the terrifying days in-between where I wondered if this path was truly mine to call my own. What's your calling?"

Shot against the backdrop of the New York City subway, the campaign is a love letter to the city's "alluring drive to dream big and change the world." Halsey, clad in sporty, minimalist pieces from the DKNY Spring 2020 collection, is joined by model and multimedia artist David Alexander Flinn in the ads.

Halsey was first recruited by DKNY last fall to help the brand celebrate its 30th anniversary with a music-themed Fall 2019 campaign.
