Hailey Bieber files trademark paperwork for "Bieber Beauty"
Model and influencer Hailey Bieber has apparent plans to enter the beauty industry.
According to a TMZ report, Bieber's company filed to trademark "Bieber Beauty" with the intention of launching a beauty and cosmetics line under the name.
The latest paperwork follows a separate filing for the trademark of "Hailey Bieber" earlier this year, said to be made in preparation for a possible future clothing line, which indicates that the model, and new wife to pop star Justin Bieber, has been planning for months to take her new name into the business world.
With an audience of 19.1 million followers on Instagram, any social media launch by Bieber will involve mass exposure and has the potential for influencer-induced sales.
The latest move from the model, who is currently a brand ambassador for BareMinerals, comes shortly the debut of her husband's clothing line Drew, in January of 2019.
Meanwhile, other U.S. stars have also shown interest in putting out beauty products of late. Earlier this month, news broke that singer Ariana Grande applied to trademark the name "Ariana Grande Thank U, Next," with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
