H&M has unveiled a collaboration with luxury Italian brand Giuliva Heritage. The family-owned tailoring specialist is known for its menswear silhouettes that are applied to womenswear and also its sustainable credentials. Founders Margherita Cardelli and her husband Gerardo Cavaliere are “passionate about long-lasting fashion in great fabrics,” we’re told.

The collection, which debuts in-store and online on September 3, features a “modern take on Italian heritage. Made from materials from more sustainable sources and in line with both brands’ journey to circularity, recycled fabrics have been used throughout”.

Giuliva Heritage x H&M features traditional shirting, tailored blazers and contemporary trench coats in a range of recycled fabrics such as woollens and polyester, as well as organic cotton.

But it’s not all about menswear style as the collection also includes “flowing blouses, dresses and wearable coordinating separates” in order to “offer a concise, classic wardrobe”.

Details include cowl-necklines, bishop sleeves and high waists while the palette features a mix of beige, navy, dusky blue and burgundy.

The duo said that they’ve created “easy transitional pieces with designs that stand the test of time. We were especially delighted to use recycled materials with every look. We have always been passionate about authentic, meaningful fashion that lasts and this collection undoubtedly captures that”.
