H&M taps tennis player Tomas Berdych as brand ambassador

Ranked sixth in the world, Czech tennis player Tomas Berdych is the latest big name to become an ambassador for H&M. The 27-year-old will help develop a tennis-inspired line for the Swedish brand, a collaboration that brings to mind Uniqlo’s campaign with tennis megastar Novak Djokovic in 2012.

The announcement comes just as H&M reports disappointing like for like sales. The H&M group, who also owns brands COS and Monki, has 2700 stores in 48 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, North Africa and the Middle East. Just a few days ago, the group announced the launch of its new brand & Other Stories in in ten European countries.
