Grand Seiko to pop up in Watches of Switzerland stores

Published
Mar 6, 2019

Japanese watch brand Grand Seiko will open a special pop-up installation inside two Watches of Switzerland boutiques over the coming months.

Taking up residence in Watches of Switzerland’s Regent Street flagship store first, from 4-24 March, the pop-up boutique will take inspiration from the Japanese concept of being at one with time and the environment.

The ‘Nature of Time’ display is designed to create a tranquil setting in the middle of bustling London by incorporating natural elements. On show will be a selection of Grand Seiko watches, including limited and special editions which will be available in the UK for the first time.

The pop-up installation will move to Watches of Switzerland’s Oxford Street store on 26 March and run there until 14 April.

With luxury watches costing up to £50,000, Grand Seiko is Seiko Watch Corporation’s premium brand. It was founded in 1960, and sits alongside other watch brands including Seiko Premier, Coutura, Astron, Prospex and Presage in Seiko Corp’s portfolio.
