GlobalData reveals top ten beauty influencers on Twitter in Q4 2019

Who are the most influential beauty insiders on Twitter? According to GlobalData, a data analytics company, Dave Lackie, editor and founder of Beauty Departure magazine, was the top beauty influencer in the fourth quarter of 2019.

With over 161,800 followers, Lackie beats beauty bloggers as the most influential beauty voice on Twitter, reaching a GlobalData influencer score of 100.

Sarah Berryman, a UK-based beauty blogger was ranked second among beauty experts with an influencer score of 73 and 11,500 followers. UK-based beauty and book blogger Hannah Ween ranked third with an influencer score of 63 and 12,300 followers.

The top 10 beauty influencers also include Makeup.com, Hayley Hall, Jeffree Star, Anastasia Smith, Chloe Brewer, Kirsty Merrett and Siobhán.

GlobalData's Influencer Platform tracks more than 250 leading global beauty experts and their discussions to provide an accurate snapshot of how beauty is being perceived on Twitter. 

Among companies, US retailer Sephora emerged as the most discussed company, followed by luxury skincare brand Clarins and UK retailer Boots.

GlobalData said conversations about Sephora were led by its winter beauty product collection, which includes Winter time eye & face palette with warm neutrals, crystal face palettes and earth eye palettes.

Elsewhere on Twitter, conversations revolved around ‘makeup’, ‘skin care’, ‘lipstick’ and ‘eye shadow’. The activity was driven by new product launches by different companies in the market.
