Global trend release by WGSN & Pantone at leather fashion platform

Published
Mar 18, 2010

To stay ahead in the fast changing fashion industry, shoe and bag buyers, designers and manufacturers use predictions of 2011 fashion trends as a compass for product & brand development. As a leading fashion platform in Asia, Dongguan China Shoes & China Bags will deliver spring-summer 2011 global trends covering style, color and materials in the industry and showcase the latest products from about 500 suppliers.

Thousands of fashion professionals are lined up for a trip to Dongguan China Shoes & China Bags (May 4 – 6, 2010) and Guangzhou Canton Fair (May 1 – 5, 2010). With the provision of free shuttle bus services they will be able to visit factories and wholesale markets in Dongguan - the mid & high end shoes and bags production hub in China, or take an hour ride to Guangzhou, Shenzhen or Hong Kong for further business matching.

On May 4th 2010 the global trend authority WGSN will give a talk on “Global Trend Directions: Autumn-Winter 10/11 and Trend Futures Sping-Summer11”, sharing shoe & bag style forecasts and analyses of future consumer activities. These concepts could be a crucial reference point for research staff, designers, buyers & retailers.

Furthermore, color authority Pantone and leather sourcing expert WLH International Ltd will speak on, “Symmetry - A Timely Point of Focus Leading to Beautiful Expressions for Spring/Summer 2011” and “Material Trend for Spring/Summer 2011” on May 5th 2010 at the fair.

Complementing these talks, WGSN and Pantone will set up trend display zones at the event to exchange and share their ideas in detail with visitors.

For details of trend releases and registration, please refer to the latest news on the fair’s website: www.chinashoesexpo.com
