Giorgio Armani Group has opened his first signature boutique in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Giorgio Armani's new signature boutique in Monte Carlo

The new store is located in the city state’s center – inside the Hôtel Hermitage, a Belle Époque-style palace whose original façade the boutique carefully respects.

The concept has been personally developed by the designer, collaborating with his team of architects. Though couched in the clean, non-print aesthetic of Armani, the space retains its own recognizable aesthetic codes: external windows edged in platinum; marble pavements; totems embellished with inserts in eucalyptus wood. Luxury flooring in chequered marble of Verde Antigua and Verde Fantastico; silk wall upholstery and the light gold and light green ceiling add to the elegant atmosphere.

Natural light floods the space, which will retail Giorgio Armani women's clothing, accessories and fine jewelry, along with a full men’s range. Platinum-colored metal tables and matching sitting areas from the Armani/Casa collection distinguish the central space dedicated to accessories - ties, scarves and eyewear.

For the opening, two new styles of Giorgio’s swish La Prima will be sold exclusively: a clutch and a shoulder bag, also available in a version with a chain, in exquisite leather.
