The independent label, specialising in effortlessly chic eveningwear, announced the opening via Instagram on Sunday, saying the store will include a showroom, a workspace, an archive and an atelier for its upcoming bridal collection.

It plans to launch the first capsule collection of wedding dresses in January 2018, with pieces expected to feature the same sleek aesthetic that infuses all of Galvan’s dresses.

This approach to fashion has helped the brand gain a cult celebrity following, with A-listers like Emma Watson, Poppy Delevingne, Kate Upton, Leighton Meester and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley being photographed wearing the brand.

Galvan was launched in 2014 and earlier this year it tapped Paul O’Regan, who has previously held senior positions at Burberry, AllSaints, Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Laurent, as its chief executive officer.

Galvan is stocked in some of the world’s most prestigious retailers including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Opening Ceremony, Bergdorf Goodman, Elyse Walker, Boutique 1, Avenue 32 and Moda Operandi.
