This year is the GFW's 25th anniversary, and the charity has announced that the event will be sponsored by British high street retail giant Marks & Spencer. M&S will host live talks and competitions during Graduate Fashion Week, and the retailer will also sponsor the M&S Womenswear Award. It will award the winning Graduate £5000, and give £1000 to the winner's University.

A M&S spokesperson stated: "M&S is thrilled to be involved with this year’s Graduate Fashion Week. It’s vital for the fashion industry to support up and coming talent and Graduate Fashion Week provides a unique platform to present the best of British and international fashion graduates to the world. As a major employer of designers – we have over 200 across the M&S business – it’s also exciting to see the creativity, dynamism and energy of the students."

GFW also revealed that British fashion designer Gareth Pugh will be joining the event as a judge. Together with a panel of respected industry experts, he will decide which graduate receives the highly sought after Gold Award.

Graduate Fashion Week will be held at the Old Truman Brewery in east London from Sunday 5th June - Wednesday 8th June 2016.
