Fusalp picking up the pace in North America

After the opening of its first store in Paris in October, Fusalp is accelerating its international development. The high-end skiwear label is getting ready to sign a contract with a Canadian partner, which is in particular in charge of John Varvatos. The stated objective is ambitious, since the brand is aiming for its sales in North America, where it is currently only present in Aspen, one of its biggest money-makers, to equal those of Europe within three years.

Acquired in January 2014 by Alexandre Fauvet, Sophie Lacoste and Philippe Lacoste, Fusalp is counting on its fashion angle to achieve success in North America. "Our wish is to enter the big department stores like Saks and Nordstrom," explained Alexandre Fauvet, the CEO of Fusalp who pointed out that the brand's future partner has a veritable "fashion culture" to be able to do so.

The same strategy has actually been developed in Asia. Fusalp has thus opened a pop-up store in Seoul, South Korea for the entire winter season, which ends in April.
