French manager Antoine Tinel is back with brands he knows well, as the former Export Director of French sport label Le Coq Sportif has been appointed Sales and Marketing Director of The Lifestyle Company, the French distributor of Fred Perry, Barbour and FitFlop. It is a come-back for Tinel to The Lifestyle Company, founded and led by Michel Roueau, since Tinel was in charge of Fred Perry's sales in France between 2007 and 2010.

"Combining the sales and marketing functions under the same leadership will allow our marketing activities to be even more geared to commercial development," said Roueau, who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his company's founding this year. The Lifestyle Company is the distributor in France of labels like Barbour, Fred Perry, Ben Sherman, Gloverall, Cala and FitFlop, and of the brands belonging to Brazilian group Grendene, such as Ipanema and Rider.

Antoine Tinel was Sales Director Europe for French label Façonnable from 2011 to 2013. He then set off on an entrepreneurial career, creating a start-up which advised French brands targeting export markets, and was then part of the team which launched Pilot-Fish, a distributor of Californian brands in Europe. He joined Le Coq Sportif as Export Director in 2015.
