Frasers opens new department store store in Ireland

Frasers Group’s signature flagship department store has debuted in the Republic of Ireland. Frasers Newbridge, located within the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Co Kildare, is a 30,000 sq ft retail destination “boasting an unrivalled range of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, premium and contemporary accessories and childrenswear”.

The group said the latest investment “demonstrates its commitment to expanding across the UK and Europe”.

It follows the opening of Frasers Wolverhampton in 2021, and significant renovations of Rushden Lakes, Derry, and Belfast. Further expansion is planned, with Cork and Derby stores anticipated to open late 2022.

The latest store, in a unit once home to a Debenhams branch, has seen the firm transforming the building “into the ultimate shopping destination with a focus on experience, brands and service, for consumers to enjoy in the heart of town”. 

The store houses a “sleek and modern beauty playground” featuring an array of beauty, skincare, and fragrance brands including Estée Lauder, Clarins, Clinique and Dermalogica to fragrance collections from Creed, Chloé, Boss, Paco Rabanne and Jimmy Choo. 

Outside of beauty, the store features ready-to-wear collections from a comprehensive mix of hundreds of brands across womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear. 

The womenswear offering includes a mix of brands from global names to contemporary labels. Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Barbour sit alongside Self Portrait, Sporty & Rich, Good American, and Agolde. 

Frasers’ menswear offer combines fashion, shoes, and accessories from Boss, CP Company, Levi's, Barbour and Hugo. The childrenswear space also features collections from Barbour, Boss, CP Company, and Paul Smith.
