Former New Look Buying Director joins Shoe Zone as Non-Exec Chairman

Footwear retailer Shoe Zone has appointed Malcom Collins as new Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Collins has extensive experience in the fashion retail industry. His most recent role was Buying and Design Director Footwear & Accessories at New Look, a position he held for over 15 years. At the high street label, Collins developed a worldwide supply base, sourcing product from China, Cambodia, Vietnam and Europe, and was responsible for range planning.

Prior to that, he worked at the international retailer, wholesaler and manufacturer, Clarks Shoes for 23 years. Among other roles, Malcom Collins served as Womens Footwear Buyer.

On Tuesday, Shoe Zone announced that Nick Davis will be the company’s new CEO, succeeding Antony Smith, who is to become Executive Chairman.
