Former Burberry president appointed Clarks new company chairman

It was musical chairs at Clarks last Friday. Peter Davies, chairman of C&J Clarks since 2005, has reached the end of his term. According to British media outlet Drapers, Thomas O'Neill, who was serving as a non-executive director, will assume the role of president of the board of directors of the British footwear brand, to take effect December 6.

President of Harry Winston since 2004, the executive manager is now taking on new responsibilities at Clarks. Age 60, he must leverage his experience in developing store networks on an international level. He served as president of Burberry from 2001 to 2004 and previously held various management positions at LVMH and Tiffany & Co.
