Five things we know about the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016

Excitement is mounting following the news that the annual Victoria's Secret lingerie runway show is set to hit Paris this November. Many details of the show, which will air on CBS on December 5, are being kept strictly under wraps for now, but here's what we know so far.

Sexy waves
Bombshell waves are a Victoria's Secret classic, and it looks like this year is set to continue the tradition, following the news that The Beachwaver is sponsoring the show this season. The brand's founder, celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa, will be on hand backstage to create the Angels' signature bouncy and weightless waves using the rotatin curling iron tool, building on her success at the 2015 show. To tie in with this year's event, the brand is set to introduce four new versions of the Beachwaver for consumers to achieve the Victoria's Secret look.

Natural nails (with some surprises)
Nail brand Red Carpet Manicure has been announced as the first nail sponsor of the 2016 show, and its team has said it is working closely with Victoria's Secret on looks that "complement the natural beauty of each of the Victoria's Secret Angels." Red Carpet Manicure is also planning to create a specially designed look for a whole section of the show, which, given the lingerie brand's penchant for extravagant catwalk costumes, sounds like something glamorous and theatrical is in the pipeline.

Paris?
For the first time ever, the show will take place at Paris's Grand Palais, which is traditionally home to the Chanel fashion week shows when Karl Lagerfeld is in town. The huge space features a steel and glass skylight roof that means it is flooded with natural light in the daytime, but since the show is set to take place in the evening, we can't wait to see what the brand comes up with in terms of lighting and staging.

Show themes
The show will be split into six sections, including 'The Road Ahead', which takes a multicultural approach, and 'Secret Angel', which was inspired by the idea of black and white secret agent films. The additional four sections are called 'Mountain Romance', 'Pink Nation', 'Dark Angel' and 'Bright Night Angel'.

The Angels
Finally, it wouldn't be a Victoria's Secret show without the famous Angels. Returning favorites Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill have all been confirmed for this year's catwalk. Behati Prinsloo, who gave birth in September, will not be modeling in the show, but sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid made the cut. There has been no announcement yet on whether their BFF Kendall Jenner will be making a reappearance.
